MYOB AccountEdge has new, cool features

November 29, 2008 · Leave a Comment

AccountEdge has many new mac-like features that will thrill the typical user.

The first feature includes better data encryption for credit card processing (merchant services). While this has always been password protected and display restrictions were there, they are now more stringent. This ensures additional compliance with merchant service regulations.

Google Maps; and View Directions are now integrated right into AccountEdge so you can more quickly find your destination, whether it be to a client, vendor or employee’s location. This feature makes the software all the more usable as part of the daily process.

Print Preview Forms means that you can now see how a form is going to print out before it happens. Then, you can use the new Form Customization Tools to fix the form if you don’t like it.

AccountEdge NE is also much faster. Searches are now quicker, as are list builds and daily usage.

Business Insights makes entering your data suddenly all the more useful. Although the ratios are typical accounting ratios CPAs might use, an easy-to-understand graph is also included that allows you to get a clear understanding the meaning of your numbers.
